BBNaija 2018: Presidency reacts to Miracle’s victory

The Presidency has reacted to Miracle emerging winner of this year’s Big Brother Naija reality show.

Miracle, one of the 20 housemates, who participated in the reality show, emerged winner of the N25 million grand prize on Sunday, beating off challenges from Cee-c, Tobi, Nina and Alex.

The President’s personal assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmed, on Twitter, shared a picture of Miracle.

Bashir Ahmed simply wrote, ”Congratulations Miracle! #BBNaija.”

Miracle beat Tobi, Cee-C and Alex to the grand prize of N25million at the finale on Sunday night.

Nina was the first to be evicted, before Alex left.

Tobi, a huge favourite, was the next to be evicted in a move that shocked viewers.

Big Brother Naija kicked off with a total of 20 housemates but only five housemates made it to the final week.

BigBrother Naija sponsors ask court to dismiss winding up suit

SPONSORS of the 2018 Big Brother Naija Show, Payporte Global System Ltd., has asked a Federal High Court in Lagos to dismiss a suit seeking it’s winding up. The suit was filed by Vacant Boards Ltd. In a notice of preliminary objection, Payporte contended that the court lacked jurisdiction to entertain the suit. It described the suit as defective, null, void and an abuse of court process. Payporte prayed the court to dismiss the winding up suit with a substantial cost against the petitioner. In a judgment delivered on May 27, 2016, the court awarded the sum of N23.1 million against Payporte in favour of Vacant Boards. The petitioner, however, submitted that on Feb. 27, 2017, Payporte made a part payment of N5 million, leaving a balance of N17.1 million which it had yet to liquidate in spite of demand letters.
