Kendrick Lamar & Drake To Compete For Top Artist At 2018 ​Billboard Music Awards

With the 2018 Billboard Music Awards approaching quickly, the nominees have finally been announced. Singers; Khalid and Bebe Rexha shared some of the nominees yesterday, which just so happened to include their own names.

Khalid, who is nominated for Top New Artist, goes up against 21 Savage, Camila Cabello, Cardi B and Kodak Black for the award. Kendrick Lamar is nominated for a whopping 15 awards, including Top Artist, Top Rap Album and Top Rap Tour. Drake is close behind with 9 nominations while Cardi has 7 including Top Female Rap Artist, a category she shares with Nicki Minaj and Bhad Bhabie.

The show, airing (May 20) on NBC for the first time, will commemorate 60 years of Billboard charts. You can see the list of nominees in some of the biggest categories below:

Health Workers Threaten To Begin Nationwide Strike On Tuesday

The President of the Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU), Mr Josiah Biobelemoye, said on Monday that the the union would commence an indefinite nationwide strike by midnight on Tuesday. Biobelemoye said this when he led the union executive on a courtesy visit to the Chief Medical Director of the National Hospital, Abuja, Dr. Jafaru Momoh, in his office. He alleged that the union members had been treated as slaves by the Minster of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole. He said that the minister failed to implement the agreement reached by the union with the Federal Government on Sept. 30, 2017 for upward adjustment of CONHESS.
