BBNaija `Double Wahala’ viewers crown Tobi ‘Ultimate Head of

Tobi Bakre, has been voted by viewers of the ongoing Big Brother Naija ‘Double Wahala’ as the ‘Ultimate Head of House’.


The housemate, who competed alongside past HOH including Miracle, Nina, Alex, Khloe and BamBam, grabbed the title after he gathered the most votes.


According to the show’s official Instagram handle @bigbronaija, Tobi gathered a total of 60, 704 votes, while Alex came second with 59, 466 votes and Miracle dragged at third position with 26, 427 votes.


The competition began a week ago with the organisers uploading pictures of all past HOH on its instagram platform with a request to viewers to choose the best in terms of leadership charisma.


Tobi has been HoH four times having won the title in the first and second weeks consecutively and winning twice as the show progressed.


Earlier in the show, Tobi, paired with evicted housemate Rico Swavey, won the ‘Duo Clip’ special task by Nokia based creativity of story delivery with a prize sum of one million naira.


The housemate, who garnered critical acclaim due to his constant bickering with CeeC, is tugging it out in the finals with four others including Nina, Miracle, CeeC and Alex. (

Singer Dr Sid allegedly 'ruffled' by SARS officials in Lekki

Singer  Dr Sid  was allegedly harassed by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian Police Force on Wednesday, who mistook him for an internet fraudster (“Yahoo Boy”). An eyewitness simply identified as Laide,  speaking to Instablog9ja  said the officers “insulted” and attempted to “assault him physically”. Laide said the incident occured on Freedom Way, Lekki Phase 1 and that after Dr. Sid was stopped and the officers carried out “routine check” but found nothing. They later seized his phone, Laide added. “Thanks to ReekadoBanks and K-Solo who were there, before (Basketmouth) who was driving by saw them and stopped to know what was wrong. Then it dawned on the SARS operatives that these guys were not their ‘yahoo boy customer’ Ise baje,” the eyewitness added.

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has raised alarm over alleged plot by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Dr. Kayode Fayemi to implicate him and some chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with murder. The governor alleged that a meeting on the plot was held in Isan-Ekiti, the hometown of Fayemi, the flag bearer of the APC in the July 14, 2018 governorship election. He alleged that a certain thug popularly known as Agbara was assigned with the task of killing people and dumping their corpses in houses belonging to PDP chieftains as well as Fajuyi Park.
