Drake set to release his album 'Scorpion'
Drake has his sights set on being the king of summer once again with the well-timed release of his upcoming album Scorpion in June.
His last release, the mixtape More Life, dropped over a year ago; the rapper hasn’t released a full-length studio album since 2016’s Views, which gave us the omnipresent song of the summer “One Dance.” Scorpion‘s lead single “Nice For What” comes hot on the heels of his EP Scary Hours, which featured the chart-topping single “God’s Plan.”
Drake, whose full name is Aubrey Drake Graham, began his music career in 2010 with his first album Thank Me Later (he was previously best-known for his role as wheelchair-bound Jimmy on Canadian teen drama Degrassi). He went on to win the Best Rap Album Grammy Award in 2013 for his sophomore effort, Take Care. Since then, he’s released two more albums and several mixtapes, including If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and What a Time to Be Alive.
